The purpose of this position is to control and eliminate noxious weeds in the County utilizing the most effective method.
Interacts with county landowners to control weeds. Performs various duties to control and eliminate weed problems throughout the county; sets application schedules based on priority; determines chemical usage. Applies weed control chemicals by driving a spray truck, operating an ATV with mounted sprayer, and pulling small trailer sprayer. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, certified as a commercial dealer, certified in Agricultural Pest Control and Right-of-Way and possess a valid driver’s license.
